Ugritone is an audio software company built by a Finnish-German team of metal musicians and producers, focused on affordable virtual instruments and plugins aimed at metal, hardcore, and punk producers working in home studios. The company was started by Finnish musician and programmer Toni Kauko, who developed the original KVLT Drums plugin, and has involved drummer Bastian Emig (Van Canto) on operations and product development, along with veteran metal producer Charlie Bauerfeind on production work.

Its catalog centers on drum sample libraries and VST/AU/AAX instruments tuned for heavy genres, including the KVLT Drums series, the Klangmacht drums line, and themed packs such as Drums Against Humanity. Beyond drums, Ugritone has released MIDI groove packs, the Ampenstein guitar amp simulator, impulse response collections, and the Verbcore reverb tool. The Ugritone brand has continued to operate under Audiogroup and Musical Bits.
