Vlcek Basses is a custom bass guitar workshop based in Nové Syrovice, Czech Republic, founded and operated by luthier Miroslav Vlček. Vlček began building instruments for his own use after finding few high-quality basses available domestically, then moved to commissioned work for friends and clients drawing on more than two decades of building experience.

The shop specializes in handmade, neck-through bass guitars built around a central tonal block intended to reinforce stability and sustain. Bodies are typically assembled from locally sourced tonewoods such as maple, often paired with exotic timbers, and the workshop develops its own preamps and pickup electronics alongside the instruments themselves. The Fineso line, offered in 5- and 6-string configurations, is the best-documented model series, with each build customized to the player's specifications for shape, woods, hardware, and finish.
