Used to be a deal!

An overlooked guitar when it was in production, but has since become over-hyped and over-priced. Simple, but solid manufacturing made this basic hollow-body an affordable option to the ES335, while retaining decent tone and playability.

the 333 is pretty much the same guitar as the 80s 335 studio... both unsung and unloved budget semis with Gibson craftsmanship... and easy toa ccess control harnesses ;-)

Fun!

Got this as my first real guitar in 1997, in blue sparkle. Dropped in a Dimarzio Evolution and wrote a lot of bad punk and metal riffs.

Simple, small, heavy.

Sounds great with a JCM 800 2204, but this thing is a pain to travel with (heavy).

Remarkably versatile.

Use it mostly for clean tone while A/Bing with a JCM 800, no complaints!
