The legendary guitar
This guitar is legendary. So legendary that Fender reissued the guitar in their Fender line, and the Fender version is actually the inferior model! The blue sparkle model is absolutely beautiful, and an absolute head turner. Only made from 96-98, these guitars are Fender Japan spec with the Squier logo slapped on. Basically a Fender experiment, that bombed in the marketplace. But found life on Ebay and other secondary market sites with huge price tags.
The only negatives to this guitar, which why it doesn't get a full five stars, is the dumb placement of the pickup switch and the equally dumb placement of the strap button. But, aside from that, this guitar is amazing and one of the most unique Fender models in their entire history.

The most badass thrasher guitar ever
Once you deal with the tuning issues (which are pretty easily fixable), this guitar absolutely rips. Sure, its a squier, but give it a try. These pickups are one of a kind. If youre trying to do any kind of punk or even metal, anything with a lot of distortion, youll love this guitar. One of my favorite guitars no doubt.
Preferred Settings + Usage:
I like to turn both volumes down just a little bit from the top and they sound ridiculous. So good. I also love turning one volume all the way down so i can do the killswitch effect. Apart from that, just cranking the gain and rocking to some power chords is the most fun thing in the world with this guitar.

In an interview his brother Mikey Way did with Fender discussing his 2012 signature Squier Mustang bass, he mentioned that the silver sparkle finish on the bass was derived from the silver sparkle paint job available on the Supersonic, which the pair had always wanted in the past.
