I bought this when I was a beginner and it's been such a great tool for me and my band, both in studio and live. I recommend it for those who want an all in one, versatile, not very expensive preamp.
Isn't the most versatile bass overdrive pedal, but when you learn how to use it properly, it's a very good weapon. I think that it's really more a fuzz/distortion pedal than an overdrive.
If you have a few pedals, have enough money and want a very good power supply, this is, for me, the best option in the market.

It's VERY, VERY heavy, but each pound really worth it. I had one of this for like 8 years, many gigs, and have never dissapointed me. It's very well made and every bass that I pluged in, sounded awesome.
