One of the truer tones on there for cleans, crunch and wooliness..

Bought this second hand since I could get it at a great price....

I was blown away by the tone I could get out of it... it doesn't have the bells and whistles on it... it could be that without those extras the signal is purer ....

Essentially been playing on it for a month now and every time I think of trying something new.... I keep coming back to this amp...

It has become my always on pedal...

I did some research and found this little guy was a unique optical compressor. The features on it allowed you to control many aspects of compression all in a pedal format. I bought one and it has become my always on pedal... It fattens up the tone nicely with a bunch of tweaks that allow you to control your tone. The other bonus with this pedal is that it has a built in boost! I was not disappointed with this pedal and neither will you...

Surprisingly great!

I purchased this pedal as an add on with a couple of other pedals purchased.... when I finally came around to testing this pedal... I was surprised with how it warmed up my tone... it added a touch of breakup when the gain was tweaked and it's now become my staple on my pedalboard... I loved it so much that I purchased a second one just to take with me just to have with my practice amp..

Great Lunchbox with great tone

When I first turned on this amp and tried it out, I ran my G&L S-500 through it and there wasn't a bad sound in earshot.... yes it doesn't have reverb and there is no control for the dirty channel (reason for 4 stars)... I look at it this way... the clean channels takes pedal really well.... like really well... the dirty channel is basically the Revv G3 pedal built in... the sound is very clear and no muddiness at all... it has an fx loop so I run my Slotva thru there as reverb and the amp just sings... the installed two notes is a nice touch when I can just use the amp and run it direct or with headphones..

So overall it's my go to amp for anything I play..
