It's a compressor

It's supposed to have higher quality components for a quieter operation, but I don't have a standard Dyna Comp to compare it too. Quite a bit of flexibility with the controls and the trim pots inside. It can be pretty subtle. I sometimes use it as a clean boost in front of my overdrive, but it can get hissy with the level cranked. That may be an issue with my unclean power supply and 100 year old wiring in my house though.

A better tube screamer

It's another Tube Screamer clone, but you have 100hz and 500hz knobs that add or remove bass and mid respectively. A normal TS is great at what it does, but sometimes you don't want that bass cut or you may want to adjust that midrange honk. This does that plus there's a switch to bypass those knobs for the standard tube screamer sound. If I had one improvement suggestion it would be to add in another clipping option for a little more gain.

Great guitar, heavier than what you'd assume

Great guitar. Stays in tune well. The Epiphone pickups actually sound good. The jack ring fell off at some point and I had to throw one on from my parts bin. It's surprisingly heavy for a semi hollow guitar. It weighs at least as much as my telecaster.

Decent practice amp

Lots of options to tweak tones using the software while connected to your computer via usb, but not the most tweakable using the amp's hardware alone. Sounds pretty good and gets pretty loud. Would be nice if they included the foot switch with it like the 100w version.
