King of Kick.... also pretty good on bass
I work live sound and use this for every band that I get and I always get told its the best sounding kick they have heard. I'd take this over the shure beta 52a any day, it just has so much more roundedness in the bass and punch in the mids, but not clicky. It is perfect live or in the studio. I like to use it in conjunction with a 57 on the batter if i am looking for more attack, but only for a few songs here and there. It also sounds pretty darn good with bass cabs, if you have a nice cab. I'd probably take an audiotechnica ATM250 over this for bass cab but this is probably my second pick and thats in a good way.

I didn't know anyone used anything else on lvie gigs except for the odd audix kick mic for metal shows.... and in the studio I regularly used to put this on bass amps righton a speaker with a figure 8 mic 3 to 6 feet out and get great results, often ebing able to use minimal or no DI

Better than the Behringer Xair18
Just like the well known Behringer X air 18 digital rackmount mixer, but with the real Midas pro preamps and a better app for mxing. This thing kicks butt. I've been working live sound for quite a while now and this thing is a miracle. It is almost unknown to the public because Behringer is obviously going to market their own products more, but this thing is just the upgraded version. The preamps are the pristine, beautiful midas pro preamps that are in the legendary M32 mixer, so you know its the real deal. The app is super intuitive and easy to use. I love that you can setup presets so you can mix a band and then when you see the same band a year later for the same event, if you saved the scene you can pull it up and its like none of you ever left. It saves everything (Channels, phantom power, phase, compression, eq, gate, levels, gain, aux sends, DCAs, etc...) and everything is super customizable with names and colors so you dont have to worry about forgetting where your channels are. Not to mention the four onboard effects engines, with a huge list of effects to choose from so its like having your core rack gear built right in to save a ton of rackspace or eliminate the rack completely for smaller gigs. I can't say enough good about this thing as a professional who lives for audio. I'm not saying its the best mixer in the world obviously, I'd take a Neve over this any day, but considering just what it is and what it is supposed to do; a digital, rackmount, mixer. it does the job phenomenally. A+ Midas.
