Good for hard-hitting
I've owned a pearl forum for about a year now (This is reviewing toms & bass, not the snare). I bought one for £220 2nd hand with a Yamaha snare and all the hardware. This kit is ok, I've recorded with it and the result was quite good, however I'd only recommend this kit for genres like metal, rock and punk. The kit has a very "big" sound, the kick drum is deafening and the toms are very clear (I use remo pinstripes). This kit I've also found pretty hard to tune, the kick drum is fine but the toms I can never get perfect. In my opinion this kit can be bought 2nd hand from £100, which is ok, but I wouldn't pay the full RRP of £350-450, you can get a much better 2nd hand kit for that price

Powerful, cheap amp
My brother bought this amp about 5 years ago 2nd hand for £60, which is a very decent price. Like most line 6 amps, it comes with multiple effects and pre-sets. I usually find pre-sets a bit irritating, as I can't get to know the amp myself, it's like the amp would be telling me what is best. The Line 6 Spider II does this, however some of the sounds it gives off are perfect. I've used this amp for many of gigs (I have the 75watt version) and it's coped well. The only problem I've had is that the nut for the jack input will sometimes unscrew, letting the input go inside of the head, which is quite a pain.

Amazing value for money
This pedal is amazing fun. I bought it just over a year ago from Gear 4 Music for around £34.99. The pedal has so many functions to play with, so many ways to alter the functions and it's hard to get bad sounds out of it. There's not too many pitch shifter pedals around, and this is the only one that I've tried, but I love it, and I love the price.
