Gear 10

I've owned a pearl forum for about a year now (This is reviewing toms & bass, not the snare). I bought one for £220 2nd hand with a Yamaha snare and all the hardware. This kit is ok, I've recorded with it and the result was quite good, however I'd only recommend this kit for genres like metal, rock and punk. The kit has a very "big" sound, the kick drum is deafening and the toms are very clear (I use remo pinstripes). This kit I've also found pretty hard to tune, the kick drum is fine but the toms I can never get perfect. In my opinion this kit can be bought 2nd hand from £100, which is ok, but I wouldn't pay the full RRP of £350-450, you can get a much better 2nd hand kit for that price
This pedal is amazing fun. I bought it just over a year ago from Gear 4 Music for around £34.99. The pedal has so many functions to play with, so many ways to alter the functions and it's hard to get bad sounds out of it. There's not too many pitch shifter pedals around, and this is the only one that I've tried, but I love it, and I love the price.
