I sure its a 1997? I didn't think fender mexico had the 'classic player' series back when I was in highschool... maybe I am wrong.

My personal Bass

Pretty good for a locally made electric bass from where I came from. It can probably go on par with regular good-sounding bass guitars, it has good attack for notes, normal quality for sustains.
