An excellent USB mic
This is my favourite USB microphone that I use to record audio for my YouTube tutorials, live instruments and vocals. I like that it has 4 settings: omnidirectional which is good for field recordings or conference calls as it picks up sound all the way around the microphone, cardioid which is ideal for recording one person's voice, bidirectional which is good for recording an interview between two people and stereo which is best for recording acoustic guitar or choir. It works straight out of the box with a minimal setup time. I really enjoy using it.
Good software synth
This is a good wavetable synth that I use for creating melodies, leads and the like. It has a lot of expansion banks that you can buy too which I use a lot.
My cheap little MIDI keyboard
This is my small, 49-key £80 MIDI keyboard that I use to play in melodies when I have to. Nothing special, but it's useful.
My favourite DAW
This is my favourite DAW, that I use for all my music producing. It has a very fast workflow and allows you to create ideas at high speed. It also works with both VST and AU versions of plugins which is a big plus.
