If you want loud, here it is.
This is a beautiful distortion/overdrive pedal. The only problem I have would be that you cannot be quiet with this, the pedal refuses to produce sound if you're praciting with settings and have your guitar/amp quiet. To get the full effect, you have to mean it!

First guitar, great choice.
When looking for my first quality guitar, I knew it had to be a telecaster. The question was which one. Coming across this several times in local stores, I was compelled to try it out. It's a beautiful guitar itself, and plays especially well with many different varieties. I use a half-decent amp with it (Fender Champion 40) and it can create a wide range of sounds, with and without pickups.
