This was my first pedal I bought a remains a favorite, thereโs not a bad sound out of it but trying to get what you want can be a little taxing at first. The tubescreamer and guvโnor/shredmaster combo is an interesting one, but it works really well if you blend them nicely. Got it because Nick and Albert from the Strokes are two of my favorites and this was the powerhouse of the first two records, needless to say I know why they used it so much

If you want loud, here it is.
This is a beautiful distortion/overdrive pedal. The only problem I have would be that you cannot be quiet with this, the pedal refuses to produce sound if you're praciting with settings and have your guitar/amp quiet. To get the full effect, you have to mean it!

Great sound for rock. Not heavy enough for metal sounds (especially with a strat)
Great sounds! The overdrive is great. The distortion is not really heavy (especially when using a strat)
