VS2108 never had officially marketed generations (i.e. no mk1, mk2, etc). Instead, there were unofficial iterations (e.g. switches from one OEM tweeter to another based on performance benefits and/or availability at a given time). The only marketed transition was eventually from the VS2108 (pink logo) to the V2108 (blue logo) that included a significant upgrade to cabinet construction (e.g. port location & tuning) as well as driver choice (allowing for higher crossover point & thus more power handling at louder volumes).
