This may not be your best budget home studio monitors.

They sounded more like consumer speakers and mix translation was very bad due to lack of mid range.

This is what you get at this price range.

I bought this back when I was starting to produce music and it was decent for the price. I won't recommend this for mixing or mastering cus of the poor bass response and centered stereo image. It's not suitable for long time use and will cause ear fatigue very quickly. I guess this headphone will be perfect for tracking due to its closed-back design and minimal leakage.

Preferred Settings + Usage:

headphone calibration software won't make them any better.

Best at the price range,

The stereo separation is amazing and it has a decent bass response. I felt the highs are really ear piercing and they should be tamed down for a better listening experience. This is probably the most comfortable headphone I have ever come across. I can go with it for almost 8 hours straight with minimal listening fatigue.

Preferred Settings + Usage:

I recommend not to use your headphone calibration EQ at 100% wet cus I felt like they truly mess up the stereo separation in this headphone. I usually use sonarworks reference at 41% mix.

The DAW of choice for electronic musicians & live performances.

Powerful in its own way. Ableton is such a beast when it comes to electronic music production.

Workflow beast

Probably the most intuitive DAW in the market, S1 allows its users to be the most creative without getting in the way. Everything is laid out in an easy-to-learn and understandable manner and S1 is shockingly CPU friendly and efficient compared to other DAWs. Even though it doesn't come with lots of virtual instruments out of the box, it has a decent collection of high-quality plugins for mixing, mastering, and any other audio-related purposes. FAT channel XT gives you access to high-end analog modeled compressors and EQs all within a single FAT channel mothership.

Good DAW for beginners

FL Studio offers a flexible piano roll and a catchy interface and it has a drag and drop loop-based workflow, But some users may find it confusing and cluttered since it's very different from other DAWs. I'm not a huge fan of how automation works in FL Studio since they are completely detached from the clips in the playlist and it takes extra time to organize everything to avoid confusion. The recording process in FL Studio is a real pain.

Perfect for minimal and portable recording setup.

The mic preamp is decent with very low noise and they sound clean with minimal coloration. The EQ is pretty basic but it gets the job done.
