Bass boosting, audio booming goodness!
I got these last night at the time of writing this, and it’s beautiful.
It has amazing "texture" and brings a nice noise to your music.

The sound quality is great and has a considerable price. Not the most comfortable out of Audio-Technica series but does the job.

2nd-Best Budget, Over Ear, Tracking (Closed Back) Headphone
You will get a lot of value from the ATH-M20x if you're looking for a budget, over ear, closed back headphone.
Pro: - It's cheap (paid less than 50€) - Has surprisingly flat frequency response (see review on SonarWorks) - Good sound isolation, so ideally for tracking or producing in public spaces / travel / coach
Con: - Sufficient bass but does not do subs very well - Not the most comfortable headphone but it's ok (and still much better than on-ear or cheap in-ear headphones) - Cheap build and feel (light, plastic and bends easily) but what did you expect: it is cheap...
[Edit: Check out the Beyerdynamic DT240 Pro as well. 20€ more expensive but I prefer the sound, especially when calibrated with Sonarworks. Also more compact & portable and comes with a removable cable that can be fitted L or R. If your ears fit within the small earcups at least...]

Good Headphones
For being a starting pair into the MTH series Audio Technica offers, they are real good. They’re real light and not heavy over the ears or around the neck like some over-ear headphones usually are. The sound quality is good, very flexible and very good at blocking out sound despite not saying they’re noise-cancelling. After a while of use, the ears tend to get a bit sweaty, so more airier cups. Still good for $89.

This is what you get at this price range.
I bought this back when I was starting to produce music and it was decent for the price. I won't recommend this for mixing or mastering cus of the poor bass response and centered stereo image. It's not suitable for long time use and will cause ear fatigue very quickly. I guess this headphone will be perfect for tracking due to its closed-back design and minimal leakage.
Preferred Settings + Usage:
headphone calibration software won't make them any better.

Great headphones for the Price (5 Stars)
The headphones Sound fine. The Low end extension is a bit low though, but I have adapted to it. I know they are for Monitoring Audio While tracking but I've been Mixing on These for over an year now. The Mixes Translate well and I also use them for general Listening as well. The Isolation is good. Couldn't ask for a better one for the Price.
Solid headphones. Great value for the price.
These sound great and are pretty cheap, but I found they get a little uncomfortable after several hours of use in a row.

Not the best headphones
From my experience those headphones are prety uncomfortable over long periods of time, and do not have the best bass nor high end. I'd rather go for something else.

Great pair of headphones for $50
I picked these bad boys up about a week ago and it changed the way I heard many of my favorite songs and songs i had previously produced. These are my first pair of monitor headphones and I love em'. I can now hear all of the subtle details of a sample or recording, which helps a lot when mixing (obviously...) Overall they have a wonderfully crisp and clear sound, especially given the price of $49.00.

There is nothing else.
And that, even these are not quite mine. What we have ... Oh yes. The sound is good, heard more or less smoothly. Of course, arranging is hard, because on the “monitors” it sounds different, but the experience is already there. I check the sound through the standard laptop speakers, they are not so bad.
