Always wanted a standard and the 2008 Chicago blue model I purchased from the factory in Memphis was truly something to behold. I walked right up to it when I saw it… this guitar had features I was not expecting, such as a chord lock and Grover locking tuners. Th as the classic Les Paul sound and never disappoints me when I’m playing her. She also is lighter than past Les Paul Standards. At least to me.
