Les Paul Updated for the working musician
I have this in black with the pickguard. Great for a working guitarist: chambered so its light, Burstbucker pros that cleanup and dirty well, locking tuners, asymmetrical neck for comfort, locking tailpiece and locking bridge. The 2008 also has a Neutrik jack that locks in the cable. Mine does not feel as light as the burst model and the chambering does change the sound a little - it can sing and be punchier than a solid LP. Very versatile and designed to work. This is not one that pays homage to the 1950s and is one of the best guitars I ever owned.

Very good playing guitar
Great playing guitar. Not a fan of the electronics. I replaced all pots, caps and wires with high quality replacements. I also installed the JB in the bridge position. Killer guitar now!

My love
Always wanted a standard and the 2008 Chicago blue model I purchased from the factory in Memphis was truly something to behold. I walked right up to it when I saw it… this guitar had features I was not expecting, such as a chord lock and Grover locking tuners.
Th as the classic Les Paul sound and never disappoints me when I’m playing her. She also is lighter than past Les Paul Standards. At least to me.
This is the perfect axe for my Recording sessions!
This guitar is my Main axe for Recording projects and sometimes live . I love how versatile it can be thru any genre of music Most studio session guitar players knows that the Les Paul has a very pleasant Frequency that makes it sounds Great in the mix!!

Modern features meet classic design with versatile neck profiles
The class guitar featuring modern touches such as locking tuners and jack and strap locks as standard. Mine has a 50s profile neck but you can also purchase them with a 60s one if prefered.
