Well, I really like the Tube Screamer from Ibanez. The main point is that it gives some distortion, but in a sutile way, without making the sound too dirty. Another point is that it gives a nice vintage, garage atmosphere. Finally, it´s a pedal that works well with others, and works well with the amplifier, making it a good choice to either play with it alone, or with another pedal.

Well, I would go with a tube screamer, because it is a very garage-sound overdrive pedal and you can use it to boost your amp or other overdrive pedal also.

Yeah I tought this as well. But I´ve considered the fact that he´s not on the mainstream scene like overrated guitarrists such as Slash or Eric Clapton (Not saying by any means that they are bad)

Richard Lloyd. He is not that underrated if you consider fans of more underground music, but still, he´s so behind in most of best guitarrits lists, and in my opinion, deserved more recognition. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jlbunmCbTBA He´s lead guitar here
