With the BEADGC tuning, you can go from low to high or vice versa without having your hand move up and down the neck as much. The tone really depends on what strings you use, but I've experimented enough to say it's generally pretty crisp and clean cut. Great for anything.

Usually when playing an acoustic bass, they sound dead. You don't get that big desired sound as you normally would from any regular bass. The AEB10E delivers. Crisp when slapping, and full with fingering, this bass will undoubtedly become your favorite acoustic bass in the studio and on stage.

Great for beginners. Mine was a bit temperamental, and lost tonation after the 8th fret. However, good price for good sound.
