Description
Unleash your creativity with the Fender Duo-Sonic HS, a compact powerhouse that melds vintage vibes with modern flair. Originally designed in 1956, this modernized classic is perfect for musicians ready to defy convention. Its sleek, alder body is finished in a glossy polyester, providing a durable shell for its robust sound. The C-shaped maple neck and satin urethane finish offer smooth playability, while the 24” scale makes it an enticing option for players who favor a shorter reach.
The Duo-Sonic HS features a unique pickup configuration, combining a Duo-Sonic single-coil at the neck with a humbucking pickup at the bridge, delivering a versatile tonal palette from rich, full-bodied sounds to sharp, cutting leads. The intuitive master volume and tone controls, equipped with a push/pull coil-split feature, allow precise sound tailoring, enhancing your creative expression. Whether you're in the studio or on stage, the 6-saddle strings-through-body hardtail bridge ensures impeccable tuning stability and sustain.
The maple fingerboard, adorned with aged white dot inlays, offers a comfortable 9.5” radius and medium jumbo frets, making it an ideal choice for players who value both style and substance. With its classic design and modern upgrades, the Fender Duo-Sonic HS is not just a guitar—it's a statement.

A lot of fun to play!
I have the Fender Duo Sonic HS in black with a mint pickguard. It looks so cool and I love the shorter scale. It was my first guitar with a humbucker and I love trying out different sounds with it.

Swiss Army Knife
With the Fender Duo-Sonic you're able to dial almost any tone imaginable in. Grab some warm sounds with the Humbucker or bring the rumble with the neck pickup. With the single-coil tapping feature you're able to dial in the famous strat scooped mid tone. Shorter scale means warmer tone, very comfortable to play as well!

It's been my number one guitar since I bought it.
I bought this just a couple of years after the 2016 offset series came out. The pickups are now replaced with Seymour Duncans and soon Klusons will take the place of the current tuning machines. The neck is perfect for me as it is not heavily lacquered like Squire classic vibe but not completely satin.

Lusted after it for months,
Neck feels great and it looks great. Put a Seymour Duncan Antiquity Mustang and a JB in it and now it's my perfect guitar.
