Arturia keyboards to feel actually MUCH better than most other controllers on the market. They have a very solid feel, the key length is just right, and they are both velocity and aftertouch sensitive. And as stated, yes they are heavy but that's a good thing - these are some of the best-quality controllers on the market IMHO.

It's not a vintage synthesizer, but it has definitely earned a place in history! Originally released in 2001 by Yamaha, the Motif is a music workstation that really has it all and has grown over the years in polyphony and waveform memory with the ES (2003) and XS (2007) series. Its features include Yamaha's AWM2 tone generators, massive polyphony (62 to 128 notes), an excellent sequencer, a sampler, A/D Audio inputs, AIEB2, mLAN compatibility, and stereo inputs. Between the various models, it has anywhere from 84MB to 355MB of sounds for thousands of waveforms. Its mLAN compatibility works great with software programs.

They're high-quality speakers from the 70s when Wharfedale were Wharfedale, so to speak. Somewhat ugly, yes, but extremely musical sounding with the right kit They're superb with valves, but less good with transistor amps, as their openness and 'take no prisoners' presentation shows up the graininess of most solid-state designs. The acoustics created in England in 1979 by the oldest company Wharfedale Columns are made in the best traditions. High-quality speakers with powerful magnets, Diffusers made of paper and silk on a very soft, timeless rubber suspension. Compression HF driver in a metal mouthpiece. All this provided a very beautiful timbral, cohesive, comfortable balanced sound and at the same high sensitivity. Acoustics are very musical! It was one of the reasons why they were considered as crap by those who used them in the 70s, quite simply because, rather ironically, the transistor amps of the day didn't really suit them. Also, they're rather music dependent - great with rock and pop, but less so with classical, as they're somewhat 'unsubtle', but in a rather fun way! Although the E30s use multiple drivers, the sound they produce is remarkably integrated and coherent, due to their overall high quality design and intuitive voicing. All-in-all, they're a quality pair of speakers which would reward even further with some judicious crossover component upgrades, enabling them to embarrass many modern designs with their excellent qualities in terms of musical communication.
