My Ol' Reliable DAW
Since I have always had PC's, I have been using Sonic Foundry (then Sony, then Magix) ACID to multi-track and sequence since I began producing music in the 1990's. Acid serves me well in the home studio for both quickly sketching out ideas and from proper recording takes. Personally, for polish and effects, I prefer to import the take into Cool Edit Pro. Then post-edit, I'll go back to ACID for multi-tracking. That's always been my workflow, which is odd given that Cool Edit Pro is capable of multi-tracking also. The final product is music, but we all have our own interesting habits and workflows that get us there!
Very best multi-track audio editor on PC in the 1990's
When I started out producing music in the 1990's, I used Cool Edit Pro extensively to polish tracks, add effects and master my mixdowns. Easy to use, intuitive UI, import/export several file formats, plus an incredible depth of customizable effects are included which can be previewed while your track is playing on-the-fly. I recall that adding complex effects to longer tracks would take a couple of minutes to complete, but 20 years later on, these operations are computed in seconds. I suppose that makes Cool Edit Pro even more enjoyable to use these days!
Solid 3/4-scale guitar
Super fun to play! Great sound in a small and inexpensive package. A comparable guitar is the Little Martin, which is at least twice the price.

Hi man do you suggest me to buy this? I owned in the past a martin lx1e but I sold it to buy something else. I travel a lot and I need something to play around but I ve never played the jim....tks for replying
Yes, I've taken this guitar to camp out music festivals and it has also fallen off of my wall once onto the tile floor without anything breaking. It's quite sturdy! I prefer the the Jim Dandy's body shape over the narrow, shovel-looking Martin Backpacker for playing on a knee. I've had my Jim Dandy for two years. Hope that helps!
Fantastic Epiphone!
To my ear, this Epiphone plays as well and sounds hardly distinguishable from the Gibson counterpart for about half the price. It has been an absolute joy to have this instrument in the home studio.
My favorite $550 guitar!
Incredible play for the price! The range of tone is fantastic. The neck-through design and cutaway make it easy to access the frets 17+. This instrument is super versatile, not just a shredding metal guitar! This has been my main instrument since I picked it up in 2012.
Boss ME-6 is a joy to work with
A multi-effects pedal that I have owned since I started playing guitar over 20 years ago. Great for clean sounds, while the distortion and overdrive are average. Just add your favorite fuzz pedal to the chain! I have thrown all sorts of sound at this unit with good results. Guitars, keyboards, tape players, miked vocals, drums and cats. Very intuitive interface and 25 programmable presets. This unit is pre-COSM technology, which is a desirable feature for fans/collectors of Boss/Roland gear.
