Gear 5

Memphis by Tagima is a secondhand brand by Tagima from Brazil. It comes with bad pickups and electronics, but it's a cheap guitar that won't disappoint a person that has just started learning to play. With an upgrade in pickups and electronics, you can make this guitar screams a pretty strato tone, but keep it mind that good pickups would cost almost the triple of the guitar price. It must be taken in consideration the high taxes from imported instruments to Brazil, which turn even cheap stratocasters like Squier into guitars with little cost/benefit. So the Memphis MG32 is the perfect guitar for an extremely low budget setup for practicing in Brazil.
This pedal is clearly equipped with a great amount of knobs, which might scare unaware people, but after you get the handle of it, the Jackhammer JH-1 will definitely show its real power as a versatile OD guitar pedal that can cover from a Bluesy Rock to Heavy Metal. Its Distortion mode adds even more gain to the recipe, but with a perceptible downside; it comes with a lot of Bass. Almost every setting you try for this mode will require the Bass to be set 9 O'Clock or lower, unless you like having a Distortion effect with almost no definition. It's an excellent pedal for intermediary players, since it will take time to learn how to tweak the Countour/Freq knobs. For beginners I would recommend getting a conventional 3-knobs OD pedal (Volume, Tone and Gain).
TC Electronic just nailed the mini pedals market with all its mini series, this one is not an exception. The default already is extremely good and with the Tone Print, you can get almost any delay sound you can imagine. The only downside compared to the Flashback Delay it's the lack of the loop function.
Despite the looks, you can play almost anything with this guitar. The only con for me is the pickups, you can do a lot of good things with the stock pickups, but I recommend changing it to fit your style.
