Hi

You're already into that style of electronica, so if you're reading this, thanks!!

I've put out 15 albums under the name Carbinax, and formerly, 2ndMOUSE.

I just released my latest album today called "All Ears", and I'm inviting you to have a listen. It's a 17 track rollercoaster that goes through electronica, detroit techno, glitch, ambient, and has had some great feedback after only an hour of being released.

I can't post cover pictures because of equipboards restrictions, but be my guest here and have a listen.

Thanks for reading =)

I definitely am, big fan of Orbital. Thanks for sharing. I'll give it a proper listen with headphones beginning of next week.

I saw your Equipboard is majority software. Is that primarily what you used on this album? Any interesting gear facts are welcome :)

GEAR:

yeah I got a ton of Vsts, and that's not including the reaktor ensembles I also use =P

There are only 2 bits of hardware I'd want cos I can do most of everything else using software. A nice phat moog synth ( although NI Monark is pretty close according to Jean Michel Jarre ), and a nice proper analogue compressor with valves that would give things a nice vintage warmth for when I do BOC style tracks. I use things like U-He Satin and FerricTDS, but it'd be nice to have something really authentic to run the tracks through.

I have played guitar on one track called Metaphysix which has very unique beats played over my guitar which has an extreme reverb plate on it so it sounds like an ethereal pad. Turned out really nice =)

Thanks for your consideration. There are some mental tracks on here. Really off the wall stuff. But there some other tracks that sound similar to Model 500 ( Juan atkins ), and then the Plaid, Orbital kinda ballpark tracks, so its a real rollercoaster of styles.

Cheers =)

Oh wow, that's really "90s IDM"! I dig it, good job... cool musical ideas, excellent programming... decent mixing.... I would get a little more low end and true high end and shoot for more depth of field but that's me, there's nothing wrong with the mixes. It definitely soudns like the stuff that influenced you. Good job. I hope there's an audience for it.
