looking for keyboard any recommendations

looking for keyboard any recommendations

Would love to help but need more info.

A keyboard like... a MIDI controller keyboard (that is, a keyboard that does't generate any sounds itself, but is used to control and play sounds from something like a software synth)?

Or an actual keyboard synthesizer (like a Virus or Nord Lead)?

you mean that the midi controller keyboard is the keyboard i plug it into the laptop and connect it to my DAW like fl studio or abelton and start recording and doing effects ??

Yes exactly! You got it. Usually you plug it into your laptop via the USB port. Then you can control the synths and plugins in your DAW (like FL Studio).

Is that what you need some recommendations for?

if that the kind of keyboard which i can play on it with any preset from a vst plugin like ''nexus'' or ''sylenth1'' (lead , bass , SEQ , PN....etc) then yes, that's what i need some recommendations for

Yes that's exactly what you would use it for - you can use the keys to play notes from any VST plugin instrument - Nexus, Sylenth, you name it 😄

The M-Audio Keystation 49es MIDI Controller is a pretty popular choice with producers. If you want something smaller and more compact, or don't need several octaves then you could go with the M-Audio Oxygen 25 or Akai MPK25.

I can help you out more if you have a budget in mind, and/or how much room you have on your desk for a keyboard.

GEAR:
  • Fender Telecaster Custom Electric Guitar
  • Big Ear Pedals Woodcutter
  • HeadRush FRFR Go Portable Desktop Amplifier

maximum budget $350, 25 is too small 61 is too big so , maybe i'll get 49 and there is a room for all of 'em

I have the perfect one for you, look at the Akai MPK49. $350 on Amazon.

The M-Audio Keystation gchiaren recommended is good too. But the MPK49 gets my vote.

Pretty much any midi controller from M-Audio, Akai, Alesis, or Novation will be pretty good quality. After that it's kind of personal preference, they are all used by pro producers, and all have plenty of knobs and sliders!

oh thank u so much , hope ur advice give me a career

Go try a Novation, a better one like the SL MKII.

I swear by the Yamaha P-85 as a keyboard controller because it has realistic acoustic piano weight/action and the best MIDI velocity and aftertouch sensiticity in its class, plus its a full size keyboard. I play the piano tolerably well so these things matter to me and I prefer to get control of other parameters via a dedicated knob/slider controller... for that job I like the now-classic phatman2 a lot. Generally I will play MIDI data into FL on the Yamaha and focus on a good performance on the keys, then go back and start fiddling with knobs and stuff...

If you don't play the piano well then a midsize Novation with lots of knobs gets my vote! Novations are head and shoulders above m-audio and most akais.
