Hi guys,

I'm fairly new here. Just updated my equipment board.

Looking for something simple to raise the pitch of a midi snare roll. I've done it with automating my drum sampler but sometimes that doesn't seem to work.

What are some of the edm producers using to get their snare rolls to pitch up?

I would think they just use the piano roll. That's what I do.

When do it, I always use the piano roll. What instrument/plugin/whatever are you using for a snare sound?

Thanks. I'm using Groove Agent from Cubase. I see the piano roll but if I move the snare up it I get different instruments.
