Beautiful, thank you!

Is there a way to see my past gear in my equipboard if I remove it from my equipment? Maybe an "Equipment I Once Had" section, please?

Thank you!

Answered above.

Could someone please change this submission from the Boss Blues Driver to the Keeley Modified Blues Driver?

Also, change this submission to this item.

I figured it out if there is really no way to find out the gear, you just gotta take stuff into your hands and ask the artists themselves which gear do they use. Yes, this is an extremely tough thing to do, especially when they are popular, but some artists do actually respond and talk about their gear, even when the media covers so little about them, it turns out like they don't want to talk about the gear.

Thanks to the Equipboard, I talked with Peter Holstrom, Adam Aymor, Scott Shriner, Jonathan Segel (I'm yet to update his rig!) and I am currently talking to one of my most favourite artists, Olugbenga Adelekan of Metronomy.

This is just a tip - if you have no idea how to find out the gear, just ask them...

Just today, I sent a message to OBNE asking about the new version of pedals. Fairly short answer, but it feels so odd knowing the guy who makes all these pedals and Coffee and Riffs videos and all that replied to me.

I might just fire a few messages just to see what happens. Hopefully, everyone prefers Facebook because it's the only social media I don't entirely hate.

Hello, can someone remove this guitar:

http://equipboard.com/items/martin-omcpa5-black-acoustic-electric-guitar

from this (equipboard.com/pros/zayn) artist's EB? The correct guitar has been added.

Also, This profile needs to be deleted: equipboard.com/pros/zayn-malik

And the Official Site link on this profile (equipboard.com/pros/zayn) needs to be changed to inzayn.com

That is all. Thanks to all the moderators on this brilliant site!

a gentleman clicked the wrong tubescreamer when submitting, correct submission has been made, please delete the following:

Please change the submitted item to this guitar.

So is Mason Hoberg going to be doing all the new articles?

Hi!

Is there a way to save the gear I had but I don't currently own anymore?

What about a section called "Gear I once had"?

Think about it.

Regards.

-Arturo.

You can actually make different lists on your own board. When saving a new item, it should ask you which board you would like to add it to yeah? Maybe somewhere deep in the options though. I named my first board something about "bass thumping awesomeness" or something similar.

Could someone approve my submission to 'Phil Manansala'. It's still pending :(

I noticed there's some equipment under the "non-music" category, but can't seem to figure out how to do that myself?

I'm asking because the producer Jonwayne has a lot of Charles Bukowski books.

Fixing that wierd thing with Imgur advertisement.

Case in point:

I would like a standard way that similar equipment could be collected under one umbrella--things like body color, fretboard material, tolex material, even YEAR for things like Fender instruments. Indeed a prime example is Fender instruments. Wouldn't it be wonderful (a lot cleaner and less confusing) if someone could simply select "Fender Std Precision Bass" and then select all the items above, with each selection also having it's own picture? I know this might take some effort, but I can't be the only one who thinks this is a good idea...

That is a wonderful idea, but some basses/guitars really differ in year. But still, the year doesn't really matter. One thing that bothers me is that we actually have a lot of Customs and Deluxes under "Fender Telecaster", not the respective models. I suggest removing the years and colours and I suggest adding all of the various models of the particular basses and guitars, like anniversary models or all of the signatures. 1959 Gibson Les Paul could be Gibson Les Paul Standard, right?

Well, you just contradicted yourself, right? Sometimes, and for some items, the year can make a HUGE difference. But I agree with you that something like the year might be a bridge too far. But why not let someone select the year, even though it doesn't affect the picture? Personally, when I see an Equipboard, I would prefer to see something that is at least kinda close to what the artist actually uses (or what I myself have). If he has a sunburst strat with a rosewood fretboard, I would like to see at least that much. But I would also like it to be under a "Fender Strat" umbrella somehow. Yes, such a thing would be daunting, and require someone quite versed in a particular instrument/brand/whatever (which I am assuredly not!), but I think something like that would vastly improve accuracy/usefulness, reduce redundancy, and increase user satisfaction.

I'm in the camp that if you own a Shelby GT Cobra Mustang, you don't need to bother making a brand new submission to note that your's has an air conditioner or halo lights. The details like this would better fit in the additional information box to the right of the item. That way we don't alienate all artists from each other due to one having a different color or year, but we still allow people to discover intricate details about their favorite artists' gear.

I for one would be irritated if I just wanted to see who all used a Spector Euro bass and it only pulled up one artist, because all the others who use it are hidden with years, colors, etc. The way we have managed it until now would allow me to see all artists who use that Spector Euro, and then compare how each artists' differs from another.

Ok, because I agree EXACTLY with what you said, and I am hoping that you agree with me, right?

Because right now, I find exactly what you describe: there are, to stick with my main example, about one GAJILLION versions of a "Fender Precision Bass" currently on Equipboard. So I can't search for a p-bass and find any but a handful of Fender p-bass playing artists.

My only caveat to your suggestion is that instead of a text-only "information box", that where applicable, SEARCHABLE SUB-FIELDS can be added to a given instrument/amp/whatever. And where applicable (color, neck material, etc.), it would even allow for a more precise picture! This way, if I want to search for every artist that uses a "fender, p-bass, black, maple fretboard", I could! Meanwhile, we could still have sub-fields, where appropriate, for things like country of origin and year of manufacture (both of which are big deals for collectible things like guitars and amps) that wouldn't change the pic, but could even be searchable--I mean why the heck not?

On a side note, all I see is the "review" for an instrument--I don't see that there is even this "information box" that you are talking about, but you make it sound like there is already such a thing? Am I missing it somewhere? Because I think that this would be an EXCELLENT idea, IN ADDITION to the sub-fields, where UNIQUE details could be added (stickers on a guitar, special mods to an amp, etc.) for an artist's gear.
