SORRY! My first inclination was to post to the individual members HOWEVER after deciding to check with Equipboard on the forums I was told by narcist to post to the band's page.

"For bands, do NOT add the band itself, just the members. Add gear to individual bands"

Seemed a little funny to me but I went with it. But since seeing your correction I will never do that again. Consequently, before seeing that I posted a LOT of gear on the Bad Suns' page. I'm willing to move it all over to the individual band members.

Suggestion / Idea / very minor Complaint:

I would love to have that left margin navigation / TOC found on Pro pages. I like our Gear Porn tab and all that stuff but the main tab is just a huge endless pile of chaos. I don't understand why the Pro pages have that nice TOC making navigation so easy ... and users don't. Our stuff is already organized and suborganized the same way. Adding this feature should be exceedingly easy. Please?

Many of my submissions about Billie Joe Armstrong were denied because I added the same model "Fender Telecaster" because I didn't know the name of the model, but guitar looked entirely different than the one who was aldready submitted. But it still got denied. Just accept that artists use a lot of guitars which are entirely different, but have same model. Please, let people submit guitars, and you should judge then if the colour, model, wear and other things are same or not.

Same thing goes with Gibson J-160E, but with Crestwood Astral II, he used this guitar heavily during White Stripes career. I mean, even the photo of the model belongs to excerpt from his house in Franklin, Tennessee, while shooting the "It Might Get Loud".

Sonic Machine also doesn't have source, ZWex pedal, Filtertron pickups...all the submissions that don't have source need to be deleted immediatly.

So, apparently I broke some part of Equipboard trying to add my Korg Toneworks DTR-2. I uploaded an image file that was just shy of 100px wide, and got the error message. Mea culpa. I uploaded a second image and got "we are updating our equipment. please check back soon." Now when I search for the DTR-2, it shows up in the search, but when I click on it I get a 404 screen.

Usually, when I submit a piece of gear on Equipboard, it can happen that mods put the wrong model, even though I submitted the right model.

For the want section, I'd suggest allowing the person to put in a description of why they want it and a comments section for that item. That way, people who see it can comment if there's something better out there maybe (or they can comment if they simply agree LOL). Just my two cents. Great job on the site, as always! =)

I don't think the GEAR PORN section should be limited to 3 items.

A lot of the specs, like pickups and strings, have their own product listings. This could get too confusing or redundant.

Agreed. It doesn't even match the headstock ... in the photo they provided as evidence! LOL Also, the fret markers look slightly different. Josh's guitar seems to have wider bars on the higher frets.
