Its funny I don't think of myself as a gear god, I just feel like I know how to use the tools I have experience with because I mine everything out where a lot of people don't. If you ask me to reate a bunch of ractal aptches or soemthing I might not do such a hot job, I dunno.... but if you want your plexi speced and dialed in for a les paul and a quad of celestions then I'm your guy ebcause I know that piece of kit like a mistress named Candi. I think what's scary about being widowed is that if I want to remarry or even not remarry I could get roped into having another one or the new wife might come equipped with one from a previous marriage. The perils of getting old.
