Overall nice sounding guitar with a pretty impressing tone. Warm and bright, nice to handle even for a jumbo sized body.

This pre-war Gibson look-alike Hohner may be made in China but you can't argue with a solid-top mohagony guitar for around 300$. It's loud and it plays nice and the finish and specs look pretty good. Made for blues and finger-style the guitar has some weaknesses when it comes to a real bright and colorful sound while you strum. But still: This guitar is much more worth than it's actual price – especially when you're looking for a blues guitar!

This thing does sound kind of good but man, it's so freaking uncomfortable to play. It definitely brings you more pain than joy, but if it's just for one or two songs in your set, give it a try. This is one big and loud 12-string. I didn't use the XLR-Plug but maybe you find that useful. It has a "normal" 1/4" as well.

I've been using this strings on different mid-priced dreadnoughts from Ibanez to Yamahas APX and CPX and they'd never disappointed me. I have them on my Martin DRS1 and I can't complain much either. If you play almost every day you'll probably have to change them every two or three months but that really depends on how much you play, how sweaty your hands get and how you tread your guitar and it's neck in generell. You can't go wrong with these.

I've been trying them on my J-45. They work pretty well on finger style but – for me – they feel a bit strange when strummed. They seem to keep the certain metallic sound, really fresh strings have, when you put them on. I prefer mine a bit warmer like after few days.

I've read so many good things and recommendations about these strings, so I tried them out on my J-45. They do sound okay but I'm not fully convinced. They sound pretty mid-based and the e string is getting muddy far too soon. I've been expecting much more! Combined with a Gibson they produce a pretty significant and punchy sound which might be good if you're are into blues and rhythm but I do miss some strumming brightness here.

I know the whole world uses this one and once it sits right, it works fine. So maybe it's just me, but does anybody else have problems placing it really straight on the fret from a playing perspective? Most of the time it seems a bit odd.

I bought this strap in the black edition about 10 or more years ago and while the lots of others I had after it got lost or broken, this one seems to stay with me somehow. I must have been 17 or 18 years old when I bought it and I found that sun logo was cool because it reminded me of Louis XIV in a way. Quality-wise Levy's make good straps. This one in particular is pretty resistible and reliable, supple and light and it doesn't look old.

My grandma bought me this little harp at a market stand in Berlin, where they sold everything from bricks out of the Wall up to Russian and Alliance militaria and all kinds of strange stuff, only a few days after the the Wall came down and Germany got reunited. This must be the first musical instrument I ever got. So I might be a bit biased. After more than 25 years this harp got a bit rusty, but not too much, and it still sounds and plays well. Although I grew up with it, I used it in studio and on stage when I got older. It might be a piece of cartoon merchandise but it never disappointed me at the level of a real instrument. This is no toy.
