Help us re-categorize "Electronic Music" ... where should it go?

Ok, here's the dilemma. There's a category under DJ Gear that's called Electronic Music. For several obvious reasons, that makes little to no sense as a gear category!

Under "Electronic Music" we have:

  1. Drum Machines
  2. Tabletop Synthesizers
  3. Audio Samplers
  4. Audio Sequencers

Ok so here's the dilemma -- there's already a category called Production & Groove under:

Musical Instruments / Keyboards, Synthesizers & MIDI / Production & Groove

Does it make sense to move 1-4 up there under Production & Groove, and delete Electronic Music? Any other solution that we can all agree on will be considered.

GEAR:
  • Fender Telecaster Custom Electric Guitar
  • Big Ear Pedals Woodcutter
  • HeadRush FRFR Go Portable Desktop Amplifier

I think Production & Groove is more vague than Electronic Music. Maybe it would be better to transfer it to Studio Equipment, but move Tabletop Synthesizers to Keyboards, Synthesizers & MIDI?

GEAR:
  • sE Electronics V7
  • Fender Vintage Series '57 Stratocaster
  • Blank slot

I must think deeply about my studio and how it should be categorized.... the equipboard categorization of synths and things? leaves a lot to be desired! It never occured to me to mention it. I'm still fixated on getting a compressors category in signal processors, really... I eman, comrpessors get a stomp box category and that's nutty, they're not a must have.... but who has a rack of 19" effects and doesn't have one compressor? Its more essential than outboard EQ!

GEAR:
  • Roland Juno-6
  • Gibson SG Standard
  • Vox AC30 Guitar Combo Amp
