I actually recorded a few bands during my studio days who were worse than this.

This was very painful to watch, but yes, people do worse and It's mostly out of just pure negligence to something so enjoyable. There's so much you can with an instrument, but when you limit yourself... you're just as bad as these guys, except they care... well, sort of.
