Just wanted to make a sticky thread with some helpful resources to get started on Equipboard, and answer any questions anyone might have. I'll add more things to this post as needed. 😄

Hello, On the LEFT side of Your Equipboard down the bottom of the list is a heading called Gear Porn. You can add up to 3 photos of YOUR gear here, but do not make the pictures too large, as they will not load if they are too big. I hope this helps.

Is that because of the word porn? Because Porn has been used to simply mean objects portrayed in a way that is desirable. Please, no pictures of open Big Muffs.

1. What's with gear that's not yet in your database? Example: Korg NS5R. How do I suggest it?

If there is an item that has not yet been added to our database, click SUBMIT at the top of the page, then MUSIC GEAR. Make sure you get the spelling and such correct, upload the best photo available of the item, preferably with an all white background to blend into the page, and submit. Try to avoid colors, finishes, nicknames, years, and specific customized items from the title.

welcome, I see we're ESQ1 brothers, nice.

I got mine in the 90s when they traded for $100... I had that, my dx7 (another unfashinable syntha t the time) and a rboken down realistic MG1 for a moog... picked up poly800 soon after and my boss at the time took pity on me and gave me his MKS50 rack because he was so down on the korg. I think eha lso gave me a tx81z that eyar but I I enver sued it much and I don't have it anymore. But the ESQ1 is a desert island piece of gear ebcause it does so many thing well and also manages to sound like tiself while doing them.

People rave about the Minitaur if you justw ant a big and dirty 2 osc bass sound. The phatties are all nice.... but the mdoel D is what we all cave, right? Before there was a reissue or behringer I got a studio electronics SE1 and its one of those thigns I use ALL THE TIME. the ARP Odyssey RI is really great as well, though not as strong on bass as a moog product. Its really affordable though.

the cartridges are ahrd to come by... try saving your aptches as MIDI data onto your computer via a dedicated MIDI librarian ;-) I've sued MIDIox for some time. It works. its free.

click on the gear on your list, on the page for that item click on the orange 'saved' icon, there will eba pop up and within that a grey drop down emnu that allows you to change between "I have it", I want it" and I used to have it."
