It should be possible for anyone to change/edit the picture of a gear. For example if you have a better photo of a gear.

Hmm... Sorry to hear, but what if they needs som kind of approval from sertant user, or maby the person adding and approving the object?

There's this "certain gear IQ" rule for editing bands and stuff. Couldn't this rule be applied to our image issue? Maybe Gear IQ 600 or so, that could prevent "false" people from changing photos. There are many music gear pages that would need some "affection". I would be very happy to see images like this changed to a more fitting one. I also added "some" music gear myself and could change some of the unfitting/outdated pictures. Certainly many other users would be glad if they could comtribute to this site by themselves (positively). You could also block users with high gear IQ if they start uploading inappropriate images or disable this rule completely if it didn't work. Thank you for reading. Stay healthy. Love.

I think Equipboard should provide the option to change the picture. Some pictures aren't right and they need to be corrected. For example in the entry for Traynor YCV80Q Custom Valve 4x10" Combo Amp the amp in the picture is the 2x12" variant. The 4x10" isn't as wide as the 2x12" variant.
