The Vintage Advance AV2H in honey flame maple is a single cutaway bolt-on neck style guitar, featuring classic tone woods in all the right places. Acoustically chambered American Alder bodies with solid maple top, enhanced with a double-stained flame maple veneer. The addition of a bound F hole gives even more tonal resonance. The AV2HHF has a satin finish, hard maple necks and smooth tight grain Indian rosewood fingerboards, for optimum playability, and also features the unique Bubinga heel extension, providing enhanced mechanical coupling between the neck and body, producing increased sustain and definition.
Through-body stringing and the intonation compensated (specially shortened) 3-saddle WT3S bridge deliver all the string response to get maximum twang associated with this style of instrument.
Wilkinson high output WHHB humbucking pickups retain the Rock attitude, and can be rolled back to single coil operation utilising the Roll Control . The unique upper bout thumb cutaway greatly assists top fret access, creating a most versatile rock guitar, with some real tone and attitude when you need it!

It's a smaller sibling to my PortaTone from the '80s. It's not competitive with modern synths, but it has more octaves/polyphony for its dirt-cheap price. They're some of the few PSRs that have sliders/directional pads, regardless of engines. I think the difference is mine has a polyphony of 8+1; the extra voice works monophonically. Pretty sure the 80 just has 8 notes of poly.
It's a confusing instrument, but it's a valid entry point into synthesis. I personally lean more towards high polyphony, so it's been the right synth for me.
It was probably amateur when it came out, although I'd say its I/O is semi-pro. With today's options, it's probably a toy.
Mine is the PSR-90 if you also wanna add that.
