Question on Item Images

I frequently notice that some of the photos for items on Equipboard don't exactly look the best.

Example:

The Alembic Spoiler looks good.

The Aria Pro II SB-1000 looks bad.

Basically one's got the white background and the other looks like it was taken outside someone's house.

I was wondering is there any way I can Improve and/or Replace the images?

if you can find a better image then replace it yourself, you have the power, like He Man.... that might be the ebst image available. If you want to photoshop the abckground out? Again, its your time and effort and we will be grateful!

Yes, but where do I go to on the website to change the image?

I've never seen it as an option.

directly udner the star rating you will see a hyoerlink that says Edit Details... if you don't see that you don't have enough gear IQ to see it. But its not a moderator-only feature.

I mean, DO YOU have a better pic of the Aria SB-1000???

Okay, no need to get pissed off, but you go into edit details I see no option to edit/replace the image.

Also the Aria SB-1000 was only an example.

if I were pissed off I wouldn't have replied, if Iw ere really pissed off because you did soemthing really inappropriate you would be forum banned for awhile

But where is the option to change the image? I've gone into edit, but I don't see a button, link or option to change an item's image while editing.

there's a giant 1. there's a photo, underneath it says choose photo and there's a gray icon that says "browse"

click browse, if you have a better photo, find it and select it.

you will also be required to put a reason for your edit, in this case it would be "improved item image"

I guess I must need more gearIQ because I've looked and I don't see an option.

I was more looking to fix them as I found them, I don't have my eye on anything, but I'd just like to have the ablity to edit if I found something.

no worries, I'm not being short with you, I just write in a very direct and terse way that people sometimes take the wrong way
