I remember seeing them around '99 and they most certainly did use fire as a source of rhythm.

I'll have to think about smashing some random objects with contact mics on them... its been awhile.

but even when I add "world's most amazing videos" I can't get the TV spot you saw that says fireball of flames because I would sample that.... but I am definitely using my favorite repo man line. above.
