Suggestion On Categories

I was submitting some Basses today and was thinking we should add a couple of categories to Bass like we have on Guitar.

I was thinking about adding "Extended Range Basses" for like 5+ String Basses and "Fretless Basses" for the latter and maybe after "Electric Basses" we could add "Soildbody" and "Hollowbody" categories?

I like this idea.

Maybe make a "Left Handed Guitars" and "Left Handed Basses" catagory too?

Hmm, good thoughts. I'm looking at Sweetwater's categorization, it looks like they have:

• 4-string Bass Guitars
• 5-string Bass Guitars
• 6+ string Bass Guitars
• Fretless Bass Guitars

We could stick those under Electric Basses... but it looks like Sweetwater assumes electric by default. So the options we have are:

1. Add those four under Electric Basses or
2. Do away with Electric Basses, and place the above four categories directly underneath Bass Guitars.

Any preference?

Why not just duplicate the guitar categories? That would be an efficient sorter. Anything with more than five strings can go in extended range.
