"Nov 9 Russian President Vladimir Putin said on Wednesday Russia was ready to fully restore relations with the United States following the election of businessman Donald Trump as the new U.S. president."

Only a few hours ago. Very interesting times indeed...

Yeahhhh was gonna make a thread this morning, but I thought I'd show some mercy If you are alright with it, who did you vote for?

Sorry, tho. Srsly

Yeah, Philippine President Duterte is now rooting for us as well. He called Obama a Son-of-a-B$%& and told him to go to hell, but he seemingly enjoys Trump.

http://www.cnn.com/2016/11/10/asia/duterte-trump-military-exercises/

So, the Phillipines has a mutual defense treaty with the US that they somehow updated significantly despite Duterte's disdain of Obama in 2014. Honestly, this is just a strange string of events happening now, It's so wierd.

Any of you guys know how significant this treaty with the Phillipines is?

It doesn't sound definite, but it DOES sound like a good start towards a relationship. I think he wants to meet Trump first and test the waters.

The treaty is honestly very good and bad for Philippines. It labels them a target to countries that are just around the corner to them;however, it does offer them revenge if they get vaporized. For the U.S., It's more of a promised gas station along the route 66 of war. I don't the Philippines stopping an invading NAVY or anything.

Joe Biden announced that Trump's cabinet is very pro-Israel as well. Right out of the shoot, the U.S. is becoming the popular kid with all the bullies. Could be very good or very bad for us :)

What i cant believe is the reaction of people, riots, burning flags , protests (which im okay with as long as it peaceful). I really do blame all the media hype for Clinton and when she lost people got really pissed and hurt. I've never like the media. Never trusted anything on TV really. Its mind blowing if you go out the country and here an issue from the US being reported by another nations news. Its always different. And I will say that I blame the media for adding fuel to the fire when it comes to their reporting after the election. They LOVE protests and rioting so they can have something to report and get ratings on. Slime bags.

Shit, I was just watching the news now, It's fucking insane how bad these riots are... I wonder what their end goal is, anarchy?

On a side note, the initial econ crisis scare following the election has done an about face. I'm glad at the very least, the conomy willy probably flourish due to Trump's business expertise.

Can you guys give a link to the riots? I'm unable to find them.

Hey man here,s one link,

http://www.foxnews.com/us/2016/11/11/riot-declared-in-oregon-as-anti-trump-demonstrators-damage-cars-buildings.html

and here's another

http://ijr.com/wildfire/2016/11/734135-anti-trump-election-protests-explode-into-trump-riots-in-portland/

The thing is people can protest all they like its their right! But my problem is when they start damaging property and beating people up and stuff. Its scary how fast these "protests" can start rioting at the drop of a dime. The funny thing is they never riot or protests outside the city in the subs or anything like that. They know property owners are more than likely armed and wont wait for the police to get there. They'll just shoot! So in a way they're kind of protected by staying downtown and damaging stores and such. They know its highly unlikely that a cop will use deadly force. Yeah, they might get slapped around and cuffed, maybe inhale a little tear gas. But hey, That's better than dying! People need to chill! And i swear the Media outlets make things so much worse than they actually are. The reporters need something to do.

And ya know you may be onto something. Trump isn't even in office yet. I could understand all the insanity if he'd been in office for 6 months or a year . But he's done NOTHING but get elected. I cant understand why people just don't relax and see what happens. I personally don't things will be too bad. People act like hes sending black to Africa and imposing slavery, pushing gays off building tops, and making every one pay a tax for breathing. Its all just media hype. And its scaring the shit out of people.

" The people will believe what the media tells them to believe"
                                                                                               - George Orwell

I live in Oregon. The protesting isn't going to stop.

"I can't believe the riots" They're not even riots. I've seen worse riots when sports teams lose (or win). But yeah, Portland hates racists. I live an hour outside, and even though we're the liberal state protesting Trump harder than most, once you get out of the city it's business as usual in AmeriKKKa.
