User Submitting Own Artist Page

Here's a complicated one from 6 years ago

Started by the Artist themselves, but slowly legitimized over time, picking up followers from Team EB. The gear entries all look to have been fairly thorough in the details and proof the Artist provided, but the links just died with age... I'm slowly updating them with screenshot-based entries.

I remember purchasing vinyl releases of this artist back in the early 00's, Fanu is one of the best breakbeat-slicers in the business... I'd have added him myself if he wasn't already here.

What's my point?... I don't have one... this stuff is just complicated...

least he has some actual instruments.... I may not like the motif (and I am a huge yamaha fanboy, I think the motif series is the firstof their flagships I couldn't find redeeming qualities in) but its an investment in a professional piece of kit

One another note, what do we do when God Is An Astronaut, a legit band with a Wikipedia page and MusicBrainz entries submits its own gear?

I'm stymied.... because it seems like it may be the guitarist! But he made his own band page and named his personal page for the band.

Further inspection shows that the page was made "almost 4 years ago" by ben_thies. I guess Kinsella just discovered it?
