Weather

Whats the weather like where you guys are?

Here where I live near Southampton, England it was around 24C last week and this week we may have snow. So what about you guys?

Here in Austin, Texas it's quite warm, especially since it's only April! Day starts out at 66°F (~19°C) and ends up close to 90°F (~32°C)

your country's reputation for shit weather is well deserved... Its been about 75 degrees every afternoon in Philadelphia for weeks, morning and nights are a bit chilly, but not by YOUR standards

get outta the north sea dude

I'm on the English channel which is the warmest stretch of sea around Britain. in Southampton we are lucky as we are one of the sunniest and warmest places in Britain and one of the driest too. from may till september we won't get much rain and it'll be mainly mid to high 20's sometimes low 30s. trust me on that one, I live here :P a few years back in may 2012 it was 34C for a week and a half everyday and the tacmac on itchen bridge melted and the bridge had to be closed and resurfaced but then that same year we had the wettest summer on record. the warmest march on record and one of the warmer mays though. This sudden cold spell is very very odd for us here, in the north its fairly common but here pretty unheard of, snbow is rare full stop in the south of england. we also get the Azores high in this part of the UK and hot dry continental winds out of europe too

still sounds like bad weather by USA standards... I'll tak the French Riviera or Tuscany any way

Its on the verge of being horrible here in Lubbock, TX . 87', warm wind gusts occasionally, bright and sunny.

My ideal weather is dark overcast, 65', no wind.

Texas is not known for its great weather either. They say its a dry heat in the southwest, I could still leave it. Extremely hot is extremely hot.

Extremely hot is the Caribbean. Tropical zone. That's where I am.

There is a saying here in Texas. "If you don't like the weather... just wait 10 minutes."

The weather here is at it's peak in the mid 60's and an overcast. You can smell all the different trees and flowers at that time. With the glare of the sun gone, you can see off into all directions for miles and miles. Here lately we've had some strong winters. Unfortunately in the part that I live in now, with the dry heat comes the outrageous wind. We get ha-boobs some years. I grew up in Alpine, TX and the weather there is a tad different. We have rocks and vegetation blocking most of the wind and back when I was a kid, we had a spring that flowed all the way through town.

not a big fan of the tropics for more than a few days either

Yeah a week ago it was boiling, it froze last night, and we had snow yesterday conveniently while I was doing PE. The North is just incredibly unstable.
