Why does it say GEARPORN???

It's a term used for any hobbiest or enthusiast galleries of special or high end items they admire. It's pretty common to hear even on television these days. Food porn is used on the cooking network and travel networks often.

Yeah, it's colloquial. You can see it as an Instagram hashtag, or what Urban Dictionary has to say about it 😄

There used to be an actual online fetish site for... get this... Furniture Porn.

It would be glamour shots of a chair on top of a table, or a foot stool upside down and under one end of a love seat. It was the least offensive, but more confusing porn site ever.

I found some photos, but they aren't as fancy as this past site had.
