Acoustic guitar amps

Hi,

I kinda want this Laney Cub 12, but I also need an acoustic guitar amp. I can't really afford both, so I was wondering if it would sound okay if my acoustic guitar ran through the Laney. I doesn't need to sound great...

Thanks

the best acoustic guitar amp is the venue's PA unless its a total, all in one POS

GEAR:
  • Roland Juno-6
  • Gibson SG Standard
  • Vox AC30 Guitar Combo Amp

True, but I also need it for busking...

In our tests, most impressive was the Fishman Loudbox Artist. We did a little best acoustic guitar amps rundown, maybe it'll help?

GEAR:
  • Fender Telecaster Custom Electric Guitar
  • Big Ear Pedals Woodcutter
  • HeadRush FRFR Go Portable Desktop Amplifier

Yeah thanks, I'll have a look!

I think that's a good idea, I know I tend to pay buskers to turn their crappy street corner playing down if they have an amp.

GEAR:
  • Roland Juno-6
  • Gibson SG Standard
  • Vox AC30 Guitar Combo Amp

Hi have a Shertler David and I it's really great. I did have a Crate many years ago...it developed a fault then this idiot who said he was an engineer said he could fix it. He didn't .... never saw it again tbh. It was a great amp, however it was BIG.

Cool Its a shame you didn't get it back :(

Yes, the amp cost a small fortune. He basically took it apart then left it in bits and of course was never in when I called...such is life. Anyway, if you have never tried the Shertler David, it's worth a listen :)

They don't sell them anywhere near my house unfortunately, but if one pops up I will give it a go
