Favorite finishes

Its probably been asked before what peoples favorite finishes are but i just love seeing how everyones views on the something differ

mine are arctic/oly white on fenders, especially when its got some wear, Walnut, any hollow body and gibson looks good in brown, cherry on hollow bodies, black it looks good on anything normal or sparkle, and most fender custom colors from the 60's(except candy apple and dakota red)

Olympic white.

Fender 3-color sunburst.

Daphne Blue.

ESP matte black.

gretsch sparkle drum wrap like on some of the jets...

inca silver

Gibson pewter

Ice blue metallic...

any vintage shaded burst, tele blonde (tv yellow, butterscotch or tv white, white blonde and any shade inbetween, doesn't matter)

My old Hofners in (shelac) Sunburst. My sparkle light blue Rickenbacker 4001. I do not like artificially aged finishes. Maybe a Strat in a dark red (like candy apple). Natural on acoustics and Casinos. SGs in Heritage Cherry. Everything else in Sunburst. Those colours are pretty cool.

I prefer natural finishes, oil finishes, and lots of wood grain. I like spalted wood and some of the more extreme burls.

There is a British company making some amazing looking guitar bodies with lots of color. Ill have to find the name of it. Alpher Guitars I believe. I first heard about them on Scott's Bass Lessons in this episode.
