Fender Professional Jaguar questions and ideas

Are the pickguards on the new pro jags the same dimesions as every other jag pickguard?

I'd imagine so.

Sadly not quite.

The American vary from Japanese. The imperial to metric conversion misaligns screw holes and pickup positions ever so slightly, but enough to be annoying. Unsure how this translates to Jags made in Mexico or Korea or wherever the pickguards were machined. Hope this helps and is not coming to you too late.

MIJ and CIJ is all over the map but tehy are fine guitars usually and worth measureing screw placement.

The American Pro Jaguars should work with the AVRI 62/65/Johnny Marr pickguards. Now, if you want the 60's style controls, that's a huge can of worms because it will need to be routed as the routing on the American Pro IIRC is actually different from a standard 60's style Jaguar.
