I can't blame Metallica for coming after napster or Pearl Jam for starting those ticketmaster hearings... Metallica was just trying to stop the paradigm shift in music biz revenue and Pearl Jam rather prophetically saw that if album sales ever tanked then ticket sales controlled by the ticket master monopoly would hurt everyone's last viable revenue stream.... heck, shows are even where most merch gets sold! People being all about illegal file sharing vs iTune or being comfortable with all venues over 300 seats being ticketed by ticketmaster who is also clear channel/livenation, choosing what new songs can be broadcast to your car unless you plug your iPhone in....

Yeah man, I'm really trying to break into it, Im pretty good with all the conniving b.s.. bad to admit that but I'm built for that. But I can't blame metallica for joining the suit against Napster, but with how relentlessly they bullied Jason, and the AiC thing, idk. I used to really like metallica but they suck worse the more famous they get (music wise thats true too). I really dislike Lars but I nearly outright hate Hetfield, no offense if your a fan, bud. Again they write cool metal riffs... that's about all they do for me. Lars can barely play drums imo.

I know its really freakin easy to pirate movies, music, band merch. I mean we talked about the china/taiwan guitars I think when I joined, but people will make exact copies of Fender and Gibson, except some dude did them to make some side cash and slapped the Gib/Fndr logo on the headstock. Some are good to play but its kinda just the point..

The Napster thing just hit at a bad time in Metallica's life. They just released one of their worst albums, were getting hated on by their own fans for the drastic change in genre, and probably felt really upset with themselves. Napster was just a distracting outlet for them.

Yeah man St Anger was the only album I could not find at least one good song... used to be a HUGE metallica fan, started on black album and "And Justice for All" in hs, awesome guitar work there... now its more than faded. I do feel bad though Metallica is one of those bands that has been through some stuff, theyre still alrightt I guess. Props to them for trying to stay relevant with St Anger... and whatever the other one was after that/recently... Metallica Magnetic or something.

They are about to release another album this year and the song I heard, "Lords of Summer" is more crap from their St. Anger/Death Magnetic era. James Hetfield's voice is so bad now. I think Black Album was his perfect voice. Not too thin and whiny, not too overly trying to sound like Christina Aguilara.

Ace Frehley is know as an asshole, here is a Guy who can barely play his parts when He rejoins Kiss in 2000 and he still bash Tommy Thayer the Guy who teached him his own parts in old Kiss songs. and Peter Criss is a very bad drummer who have problems to keep time, he also bash Tommy Thayer who help him get him act together when he rejoins Kiss too.

The guy is such a low life, shit talking, white-trash loser. Many people blame him for the death of Dimebag, and this last year he was seen giving a Zeig Heil on stage which made other bands like Machine Head refuse to have any contact with him again. He's barely able to sing the songs that were written for him and he has the attitude that he's some legend. No. Pantera became famous due to the Abbot brothers mostly.
