So I saw on Thomann if you leave a review of a product yuou are in with a chance of winning either a 1000 euro discount voucher or a 100 euro discount voucher but also you get a 10 euro discount voucher for leaving the review so if anyone orders from there make sure you leave a review! I just got 20 euros in vouchers for my two reviews :D

Seriously! If this is what I think it is then it's a veritable goldmine.

Haha, I just left a review on there because it said leave a review for a chance to win 1000 euro or 3x 100 euro vouchers. Didn't know they just handed out 10 euro vouchers for reviewing stuff anyway, which is nice haha

Hey out of curiosity, is Thomann Germany's biggest "big box" online music gear store? Or does all of Europe shop at Thomann?

In the US, we've got Musician's Friend, Guitar Center, and Sweetwater as big online retailers. When it comes to showing where to buy gear, Equipboard doesn't do a great job (yet) for anyone outside of the US.

What would be the best experience for Europeans? Thomann? Amazon UK/DE/IT/etc?

GEAR:
  • Fender Telecaster Custom Electric Guitar
  • Big Ear Pedals Woodcutter
  • HeadRush FRFR Go Portable Desktop Amplifier

doesn't GC own Musician's Friend? there's a couple other big ones like zzounds thata re always spamming me to buy new stuff from them online too...

GEAR:
  • Roland Juno-6
  • Gibson SG Standard
  • Vox AC30 Guitar Combo Amp

Thomann does the whole of Europe and even the US, not sure how much shipping to the US is but its flat rate shipping anyway. I know a fair few people who shop at Thomann and because we are in the EU we just pay 10 euro shipping on orders under 199 euro and no import etc which is nice. Another one in Britain that is used alot is GAK and DV247, DV247 does the cheapest prices in the UK but Thomann tend to be a little cheaper typically. You should definetly add those to Equipboard, if you tell Thoman, they can have it set up I think so you get rewards points sent to you for having the link every time someone orders from them. But Thomann just do everything, they're so big they even have their own guitar company who do everything from guitars to amps and effects to machine heads.

I think Thomann is Europes biggest online music shop
