Uploading custom guitars

Hi, just wondering if anyone has any thoughts/opinions they could share on this? I have a guitar that I built myself, which I'd like to add to my 'have list' but yeah, it's a one off and the current system only really works for stock items. Any ideas about how to upload it?

I would think it's okay unless it's a strat just with a different pickup or something. If it's a completely different company that isn't represented on the site already, I say go for it. If it's let's say a Fender Strat that you ordered with a custom preamp or something, then I would say to just add in the notes that yours is customized that way.

as long as its not a partscaster you built and its truly a unique instrument? sure

GEAR:
  • Roland Juno-6
  • Gibson SG Standard
  • Vox AC30 Guitar Combo Amp

Cool, cheers guys. Should I just call it "Self built Superstrat" or something like that?

What company did the parts come from?

so it IS a partscaster?

GEAR:
  • Roland Juno-6
  • Gibson SG Standard
  • Vox AC30 Guitar Combo Amp

Yeah if it's a modified Strat please just say you have a basic Strat and in your review you can add as much detail as you want about how you built/modified it.

GEAR:
  • Fender Telecaster Custom Electric Guitar
  • Big Ear Pedals Woodcutter
  • HeadRush FRFR Go Portable Desktop Amplifier

so it IS a partscaster?

No. I built it from the ground up. From planks to guitar.
